| Description: |

Imagine that it is the year 1607, and you are charged with finding a channel in Powhatan’s River, later to be named the James, that is deep enough to navigate upriver. Take soundings of the bottom, construct a bathymetric chart, and mark the channel. Extend your learning by making a shoebox model of another potential channel in the river. Assess your learning with a 5-item quiz. |
