Grade and/or Subject: Grade 5 Science, Life Science, Earth Science, Elective—Oceanography Description:   Learn how storms, especially hurricanes, affect the salinity of the Chesapeake Bay. Examine multiyear maps of the Chesapeake Bay to learn how salinity and temperature vary in different parts of the Bay and at various times of the year. Conduct a web quest and write a report on conditions that influence the migration, breeding and location of various sport fish during the year.
